We took these pictures in a demostration front of the Helsinki's MACBA, but I can promise you that since spring started and snow left us they are getting drunk and wearing like this everyday, u should go to the central rail way station saturday mornings... amazing!!

Last week and a half I had the best time in my life I think... After Suzane leaving us...:(
I had my birthday party with around 40 guests in my place, everybody flirting with everybody, people who doesn't remember how they got home, all kind of liquors and sweets, nice presents from all around the world, my first Grill meal (yeah, I was drunk enough I think...) Meritxell calling me and talking with everybody in the party, hahahah, we had so much fun...
I finished my most boring subjects
I met more people from fuckin Kontula and now this place is the best place where you can live in Helsinki if you are not a finding-people hater
SPRING ARRIVED and with it: the grass, the sun and the seaguls :S
I got an internship place in a really nice finnish clothes brand, a young argentinian-finnish marriage who are doing their own collection, a film and opening a gallery downstairs, all at the same time!
Beatiful parties with beatiful people in beatiful places every night
Easter-polish lunchs and dinners with coloured eggs and walkings around the cementory and the frozen water beach
I started my Cira's Freehand lessons where I'm not a student, but the teacher!
And, finally, after 2 weeks asking to everyone where to buy a bike I got a beatiful second hand one for ten euros!

And after all of this my conclusion is:
I have already been 3 months here and everyday gets better and better!
I should come back in a month but I don't really want, I just know that if I go now to Barcelona I will spend all the summer depressed at home... But I don't have any real and valid reason to stay longer here, it's just that my life here has been much nicer than any time in the lasts three years in Barcelona! And I still do love Barcelona but...
Well, today I was checking how to change my flight, I signed for the internship untill ends of july and I started looking for another apartment for the summer... Yeah, I think I'm staying longer!

Hace dos semanas fui a una fiesta en Taik (la universidad del futuro). Era la fiesta de clausura de un seminario que hicieron de diseño de sillas y claro se llamaba la "chair party".
El evento en sí tenía un rollo muy fiesta Bauhaus porque todo estaba diseñado por los alumnos: las sillas, mesas, platos (todos con un dibujo diferente) cubiertos, vasos e incluso los vestidos de las camareras).
Una pasada, dan ganas de quedarse para siempre...

Ah, cuando se acabaron los cubiertos de metal sacaron estos, como si fueran de plástico *___*

Helsinki está lleno de pistas de hielo por todos sitios.
La primera vez que fui a patinar fue en San Valentín. Los estudiantes de Taik (la universidad del futuro) organizaron una fiesta en una pista, todo el mundo tenía un número y tenía que encontrar su pareja y patinar al ritmo de la orquestra, muy divertido!
Luego fuimos a otra pista donde habían organizado el mismo juego pero a nivel más público, allí encntré mi "date", más bien me encontró él a mi... pena que era un poco cincuentón pero muy majo!
También hemos estado visitando la pista de Korjaamo; Korjaamo es una especie de editorial de revistas modernas que a la vez hace de centro cultural (esto es muy habitual en Finlandia), tienen dos zonas de exposiciones, un auditorio donde ponen pelis, un bar donde hacen todo tipo de actuaciones y un patio que en verano usan de pista de patinaje y en invierno transforman en playa artificial :D
Ahora mismo está la pista de patinaje claro, que es de hielo rojo como un calipo de fresa, con musica de Abba y con proyecciones de Mary Poppins, además los patines son gratis (a veces) y están nuevos! Esto en España será imposible...
En fín, a este ritmo voy a volver como patinadora profesional...

Los primeros días en Helsinki veía galerías por todos lados, de golpe no se que ha pasado que han desaparecido... Igual las pusieron los candidatos a las elecciones para ganar votos...
Bueno, los museos modernos también están muy bien; Hay uno, el tennis palace, que está encima de la sala de cine más grande y popular de la ciudad, y hacen exposiciones en plan: ropa interior masculina, muy chulo. Luego hay otro, el Kiasma, más del estilo del MACBA o el Caixaforum, con un poco de todo, pero más grande, también muy bien, lo más chulo era un video de un coro de Edimburgo formado por ciudadanos que se quejaban de cosas como que el conductor del autobús ya no les habla, muy monos! La pena esque no te dejan hacer fotos en ningún sitio :(

En Helsinki están intentando hacer algo como "el Born" barcelonés que se llama el Design District of Helsinki pero que en realidad no es nada más que un mapa bonito del centro con todas las tiendas bonitas numeradas!
